The Antidote to Isolation

Do you want to know something that makes me really uncomfortable?

I haven’t had any friends near me for the last 2 years.

The downside of how we’ve been doing our digital nomading is that we have bee very isolated. We’re not in tourist hotspots like a backpacker, nor are we staying in hostels. We stay in one place for a few months, but not long enough to generate any real friendships.

Even with my friends from home and from business programme, we’d speak so infrequently that we’d both have changed dramatically since our last conversation. We were getting further and further apart.

So in the last 2 years, I’ve felt really isolated.

I realised that I was craving community. I wanted female friends who understood my journey – who were on it with me.

When some of my colleagues started joining network marketing companies, they’d talk about the community, and I didn’t really believe it. I didn’t see how it could be much different than any other facebook group.

But it’s so, so much more powerful.

There’s something really special about our wider doTERRA team.

When you join one team, you also join the communities of all the uplines – that means around 5,000 gorgeous, healthy, happy ladies who are all on a shared mission to make the world a better place.

Last week Rab was sick, and I posted asking for help with essential oil remedies. I got about 10 responses within minutes!

My own Team Living Rosy community has more interaction among our 35 or so amazing women than I’ve seen in some groups of thousands or more.

So if you’re looking for some women who GET you – who have your back, and want you to succeed – doTERRA offers you the perfect community of supportive women. This is about more than business – this is about making real friendships, both online and in person.

If you’d like to hear more, check out this free training that explains more about how I’m running my doTERRA team. (It’s pretty different to any other “network marketing” out there 🙂
