Happiness School Episode #17 – A Gentle Rant on Following Your Heart

So I woke up this morning and I realised that I’ve created everything I wanted to – freedom, time to myself, but most importantly I’ve figured out who it is that I want to work and connect with.

When I made the decision to start working with doTerra it made no sense at all – logically, financially, just at all. Then again, neither did leaving my steady, high-earning corporate job to start my own business. In the same way that leaving corporate allowed me to find freedom and my true purpose, doTerra has allowed me to find my tribe.

Following my heart

allowed me to find the things that I needed to be successful and healthy; listening to my mind only made me worry about what might go wrong. However, when we take that step our heart tells us to take, the next steps become clearer and clearer.

As Steve Jobs said,

“We can only join the dots backwards – our path only becomes clear once we’ve taken it.”

Even though my mind told me that joining doTerra was not a smart decision I was still inexplicably drawn to it. After I joined it became obvious to me: these were the people who understood me and this was the place where I was happy! Listen in to find out more!
